Boudoir is a celebration of the beauty of the human body. When you book a session, my desire is to give you an experience that leaves you with newfound confidence in yourself and images that reflect that confidence. You deserve to feel beautiful in whatever stage of life you’re in, and at home in the body you were given. Let’s start planning your session so you can see how even the simplest parts of you are artwork!

STEP 1 - CONSULT AND COFFEE
The first step is to reach out! Fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and I’ll send you a message back shortly! Our initial talk may include a chat about your hopes for the session, when you’re hoping to book by, and which product you may be most interested in investing in!
Once the contract is signed and retainer fee is taken care of, you’ll receive your “Boudoir by Kate” style guide, and then it’s time for our consult! I love getting the chance to meet and get to know you before there’s a camera between us! We’ll be able to talk face to face about expectations, locations, outfits, any nerves, questions on the style guide and more.
STEP 2 - PREP AND SESSION
Time for the fun part! After looking through your style guide it’s time to start shopping for outfits and setting beauty appointments. Be sure to go through the checklist included in your guide as we get closer to the session just to make sure you have everything prepared for the big day!
On your session day, it’s easy and common to get last minute nerves. Don’t worry. I’m here to take care of all the hard stuff in directing the session so that all you get to do is celebrate your beautiful self! Most of my ladies take a few minutes to warm up, and then tell me how freeing and easy it is, leaving the studio excited to see their images!
Step 3 - Reveal and Ordering
Now that you’ve waited out those two weeks, it’s finally time to see the gallery you haven’t been able to stop thinking about! I love being part of the reveal with you because I get to see your immediate reaction to your portraits. I’ve watched women beside me jump up and down in excitement and gasp excitedly “that’s me??”, and there’s really nothing like being there with you for that moment.
After your reveal, we’ll take time to go through your gallery and decide what images and kind of product you’d like to take home with you. Once it arrives, I’ll package and deliver it at a designated meeting spot or straight to your door!
